About Turkish cuisine Print Email

İf you fall in love with Turkey, you also have to fall in love with turkish kitchen.

İt is exotic enough to surprise us, but at the same time close enough for our tastes, so that everybody will find here something he loves and what his stomach accepts without protest.

Historically Turkish cuisine is the result of the turbulent history of Asia Minor. And so in Turkish dishes we find traces of Chinese cuisine, for example in the form of mini-ravioli  called here 'Manti', Central Asia, Hittite, Greek, or even French.

The Turks are very proud of both: of their regional dishes, as well as of the fact, that Turkey is one of the few countries in the world, which is able to feed themselves. İt is conditioned by the geographical diversity of the country and a friendly climate for growth, so that crops can be harvested even three times a year.

Turkish cuisine is characterized by wide diversity. Should you be travelling around the country don't miss  many varieties of Turkish cuisine:

· Kitchen of the Marmara Sea coast

· Kitchen of the Aegean shores

· Mediterranean Kitchen

· Kitchen of Central Anatolia

· Kitchen of Southeastern Anatolia

· Kitchen of Eastern Anatolia

· Kitchen of Black Sea
